OK, update time! I have my structure modeled out and the UVs done so I'll start painting it up. The model is of an observatory with a large telescope peering into the heavens. The planes draped from the edge of the roof and base of the observation room are to be vines and such. Planes down by the rocks will be tall grasses. Plane up on the top of the peek of the roof will most likely be a crescent moon shaped weather vain/lightning rod. It comes in at exactly 1024 triangles. Will get to painting now and hopefully have time to finish it up during this week in the evenings.

That's frigg'in great man. Didn't realize how large the structure was at first. Very well balanced looking and dig the windows/holes. :P

Unfortunately I won't be done painting this up in time to make the deadline that is today (Nov 20th). I just did not end up with enough free time to make it possible with work and other obligations. I will be completeing it regardless though and will post when it's done. Thanks for all of the great comments though. Seeing as I won't be done in time for the deadline, I will go ahead and add on the other part that I planned to do as a 5m x 5m plot to sit next to it. It is of a small one man flying saucer crashed into the ground. Having been there for quite some time it will be missing pieces and be weathered. This is to explain where the resident of the observatory came from. They are left looking back to the skies in hopes they can find somebody to hitch a ride back home with. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
