Wow, choptider, this turned out really well! Excellent work all round, I love it... so much detail and expression.

Also, thanks very much for the step-by-step photos and details, it's very interesting stuff! I guess it cost a lot to do the bronze version but from what I can see, the final version was really worth it!

Keep it up /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congrats on a well done job J-man, it was such an undertaking. I'm sure your dad enjoyed it to death!

Now make something abstract!

CRICKEY! She's a beaut! Just look at her deadly jaws, perfect for clamping down on prey!

The joke doesn't work as well without the crappy aussie impression that I do.

Turned out great choptider! I loved looking at the bronzing process, because I've been looking into that a lot lately.

Great Stuff!

Wow, this turned out great. The scales on the side on the belly area work great.

The bronze final looks great! It looks like a lot of work, though. There go my retirement plans of making giant bronze sculptures.

its a bunch of work but with every step detailed here it looks worse than it is. i did a bronze in college. we skipped the whole first part cause we made our original sculptures out of wax and not plasticine. there is a sculpters wax that behaves alot like plasticine.

very nice work, it reminds me of how much i dont miss art school.
