I like how detailed he looks, he seems nasty. Are you using bump maps?

No bump maps. I roughed-in volume areas in to push the shape with shades of blue using Maya's 3d paint tool. Then I went ape wild with complimentaries. I have a cintique at work, that helps a bit.

Still have a bit to do, but this is getting closer...

That's cool, the mouth and eye make it look like a sharkrat! Needs a longer tail though

Rat with Plague, and Cataract.

Done for now. Might stroggify later or something. This was a fun challenge, I must say. I really dig all the stuff you guys came up with.
