great ideas, on the side note, it would be great if anyone can export the model as obj file so regardless of what software people uses they can open the file.

Gir your Dragon sdk got a problem.. i cant assign at the obj and 3ds 2 skins.. only 1 ..and so i canīt make this model with 2 skinmaps.

in the P&P forums, not in the SDK thread. SDKs go to the SDK thread, where people find SDKs to skin on. Results usually go in the WIP thread or a new thread, sometimes titled "[modelname] SDK adventures"

Would you like to sift through an SDK thread's posts full of results trying to find a SDK download?

Hey guys, here's another SDK for you to play around with. It was intended to be a personal texturing exercise, but Prior wants to give it a shot so I'm putting it up for download. I've never done this before, hopefully the model and UVs are tolerable. Let me know if seams/distortion are giving you trouble. I have made an SDK of my Bunny that is included in the UT3 Rodents Faction: http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=53379

Putting your skin in UT3 can be done very quick and quiet easy. The zip contains a upk. package and ini code that is already configured. You only need to replace the textures with your textures and then you can already test it in game.

pc lurker "Joseph Pomeisl" was unable to extract my UVs correctly from my obj and had opted to just unwrap the model. He said if I thought it would be helpful, I could share them. I want to thank Filbot for pointing me to this thread. I don't really know how to model but I am interested in learning how to texture. This is my first attempt at texturing so any feedback would be great. Thank you to Ben Mathis aka "Poopinmymouth" for posting the SDK of a character he created. All modeling credit goes to him. Thank you.

Here I wanted to show my process for my final texture design. First I started by creating black and white shapes to help me chose a final design without being distracted by color.

as far as i understand it, only SDK links should be posted in this thread.

if someone downloaded and textured an sdk, i'd personally like to see them create an offical thread for it, in pimp & previews. a moderator can give the official word on how it should be done.

i'd like it if a mod took it upon themselves to update the first post to list all the SDK links in this thread for quick reference and add links to official thread for each respectively, assuming it had one, where one could find all the pimped textures created for the SDK.
