Anybody else see the trailer for this? I just saw it on Adult Swim after Family Guy. He's returning to the same style he did with Nightmare Before Christmas. Same look and feel and animation. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it.

Yea, I saw the teaser months back. Great style for sure, looks fantastic. Nobody can do stop-motion like Tim Burton.

Don't mean to be the snob, but it's more like no one can do stop motion like Henry Selick. He's the one that actually directed Nightmare, James and the Giant Peach, Monkeybone, etc. Never gets the credit though. But it was Tim's original story and design on Nightmare and all, only he was too busy with Batman at the time to direct.

Well, by saying Tim Burton, I do mean everyone involved. I didn't know which individual was personally responsible for it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You can't go wrong with Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. All together! At the same time! Looks seriously awesome, but then I loved Nightmare Before Christmas too.

I'm also anxiously awaiting Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Depp will either kick ass as Wonka or will bomb terribly.. I'm betting the former, but we shall see.

Yeah, I heard it was done in CG as well. But rendered to look like it was done in clay.
