Challenge #10: Lightsaber; iMag

I am going to attempt this one. might go the more novelty route design wise or may go more ergonomic. either way i'm going to draw up some concepts.

K, here we go. decided to go with a different blade style. have a fair number of other ideas floating around for various style of lightsabers instead of the typical phallic shapped hilt. I figure since the blade is a projection of light, it can be focused into alternate shapes for various fighting styles, since not all jedi's prefer one type of weapon and one style of fighting.

just the hi-poly concept. will throw in the low poly and textures tomorrow after I wake up.

hey, that's neat, like a fan weapon. Hilt looks very bike handle, and that glowing green in front of the clouds images is tough to look at. A darker background would be your best option. Maybe the dual mode would be impossible to use without dying. :P

It would be kinda rad if the fan animated from the normal shape to the fan shape.

One crit would be the fan is too wide...imo.
