I have been reading the boards for a while and decided to join and start posting. I have learned so much from these boards its amazing. I am an art student living in Seattle and want to get a job in the gaming industry, dont we all. This model has potential i think, but needs texturing or maybe some ideas for a cool untextured display of the model. If any one would like to take a shot at texturing this guy that would be cool.

Oh, and this is my first pimp so I'm going to try and do my best with the thumbnail and post. thanks, rockd

well, i personally do not like this design, but aside from that, i feel that your use of ploys is waistful. the head stands out in this case. i think asking for input before unwrapping would have been more helpful in this case, but oh well. you did a nice unwrap in my opinon.
i feel you could easily change areas to make the design look better. when i say i don't this design, i am saying that i feel they are not arranged in an asthetically pleasing way. i desire an adequate mixture of order and functionality in a design.
