b1ll, it looks great, as usual! I'm going to try to give some crits though, rather than simply glowing praise.

I don't know if its supposed to be Logan. He smokes cigars not ciggs. Also, the hair style is wrong for Logan/Wolverine.

The hair transition at the forhead is a bit abrupt. Most hairlines aren't that sharp in my experience. The way you've modeled the eyebrow ridges looks like a neanderthal, but while you've textured him as "rugged" the eyebrow ridges still dont quite work with the texture. I'd say change one or the other.

A little more asymmetry on the texture would be nice as well. Skin saturation could maybe be pumped up a wee bit as well. Looks a little dull at the moment. Those color variations just aren't as apparent as they could be.

The shading on the bridge of the nose, and eyebrow crease is a bit hot and sharp I feel.

The smoke plane could be enlarged to be more of a trapazoid (larger at the top) and its opacity reduced. I think that'll help it read more accuratly.

I'm not crazy about how the turtleneck tapers. I'd say reverse what you've got now. Wider at the bottom than the top, or better still, add 1 more row and have the center ridge the thinnest, wider at top & bottom.

I know you didn't ask for crits, and I know it's a WIP, but just trying to help out.

b1ll, thats about 7.9 million shades of rad. Logan is the shit.

the face is badass, id maybe see it having a little bit more red under the eyes, not like he just got done cryin his eyes out (wolverine does not cry! he is no pansy!) but that area seems a little lifeless. The pupils could use a little more love too /images/graemlins/smile.gif whats going on with that line under the lower lip and cigarette? is that a seeeeaaam? whahaaaa?
