Does anyone know how to avoid seams in your textures when using "convert to file texture" to bake lighting in Maya? If it would overdraw by a pixel or two that would save a tedious hour's work in PS fixing it. I'm still using Maya 4, BTW, but if there's a way to do it in later versions I'm still interested as we're upgrading to version 6 soon.

I can't remember whether 4 had this or not, but 5 has a Option called Fill Texture Seams, when you go to the options box for Convert to File Texture.
I'm guessing you don't have that /images/graemlins/frown.gif

in the Convert to File Texture options, Maya 4.5 has an option called "background mode" if you set it to Extend Edge Color it should solve your problem... Though I don't remember if this option is in 4.

Thanks guys, those options are absent in Maya 4, but good to know for the future anyway.
