Anyone know if Blender 3D allows one to export to game formats like Quake 2's md2 or Quake 3's md3?

Does this require a plug in? I can't find any information on exporting Blender models + animations into game-ready formats.

Thanks

I donno where they went (site didn't work last time i tried) but i've mirrored them here, they may be old though but they work, with animation support (and i think UV's as well)

Oh btw, I don't have md3 export there but md2 should be good enough. Remember to convert your quads to tris before exporting md2.

There is MD3 export but it doesn't support materials so you can only use it for playermodels that define their materials in the .skin file. MD5 support is really good but I guess that's not supported by your target engine?
