Anyone remember this?

I would just love to make a remake of it , sentinel returns sucked, i was thinking of maybe using UT2k4 engine , and adding multi player parts to the game , sorta like assalt , buit first i guess just a remake , like the old amstrad and amiga versions , maybe with some graphical redesigns , but i want to keep the gameplay the same ...

post here if you are interested in coding it ...

Argh , there must be somone out there who likes the old classics , you know , its the game where you absorb trees and boulders to make robots , and try to get high wenough on the terain to absorb the sentinel. ive got some seriously good ideas brewing for this ... and it would be a complete change from the gazillion fps DM games our there!

I think this might not be the best place to find a coder. I would try posting in the gamedev or flipcode boards.

Or try posting at remakes.org, there's plenty of coders there

(in dark/blitzbasic that is lol)

Could always try out http://devnet.sylphis3d.com/ and start on the road to Greatness with that engine?

His problem isn't the lack of an engine, it's his lack of coding ability.

So those that aren't old enough to remember The Sentinel now can see what it was all about and why it was soooo much fun.
