Anyone got a link to the old hand tutorial that Daz posted on the old boards?

Wasn't that Gwot? That's the only bell that's ringing for me Rick.

Speaking of tutorials by you Daz, I've still got that old tutorial you did on painting faces.
Its quite a good little tutorial, do you still paint faces using that method?

I dug through the wasteland that is my online image dump and found these: http://www.gwot.net/pub/Hands.html

I think the top row is what you were referring to Rick. Not so much a tutorial as a progression from box to... something. But hey, if it helps... =]

Included a couple others just for their cages.

Thats the ticket. I've been playing with Hands in Silo for the last few days doing various methods to see which ones make the most sense for high poly.

I have found the starting the divisions for fingers from the finger bones (inside the palm) rather than just where the fingers appear to be extruded from the end of the palm looks much better.
