I hate to post this after looking at some of the work up here.. Simply amazing.
I have been in the game industry forever and now am trying to go the contract gig route.
Hope you guys don't mind me posting this here.
Hi, Mike. I liked the site since it seemed pretty unique, plus I thought it was cool. The only thing that bothered me was how some sections of your site opened in a new window but the WIP section worked without opening in a new window. You should avoid having sections on your site that don't work since they can make you look bad. The mouseover effect that reveals and hides your work is a bit annoying, since I don't want to be thinking about where my mouse is when looking at someones work. For this reason I think you should use a more traditional approach. I believe it would be more effective to show your work right off the bat instead of just black space like you have it now. Nice work. Later.

I really like the website, however, it feels more like a "fun" website rather than a site to showcase a gallery of work. I would think it'd be best if a gallery site is straight and to the point as much as possible.
As for your work and such, I look forward to when you have your characters section up and running, the stuff you have currently is great. Always glad to see a "polycounter" from Washington state (being that I live in Washington too).

Thanks for the reply guys. I have had both good and bad remarks concerning the java script stuff. I guess it's personal opinion.
I had a really straight forward approach on my last site and got no love. Hoping the expolatory nature of this one at least gives me feedback, good or bad.
Thanks again for the remarks!
Some good solid work there Mike. I think the site design is a bit fussy and over complex. The arcade machine thingy is a bit confusing. Or I just could be a bit dumb /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now I gotta redo the whole thing!! /images/graemlins/wink.gif
I really admire your work and I doubt very seriously that you are dumb. I will see what I can do to make the site a little less fuzzy, perhaps I can get at what I am wanting and make the navigation a little more straight forward.
Thanks again for the input.
Hey dont redo the whole thing on my account! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
When I got to the arcade machine I just kept clicking on the screen. It took me a good long while to try the controls. Lord knows why cos its pretty obvious when you think about it!
