I started this one at Sketch Group yesterday. It's an old Surrealist art game called 'The Exquisite Corpse' (http://www.cyberstars.com/ron-mike/history.html) , where they would fold a piece of paper and several people would draw on the parts, but nobody would know what the others had done till the end. Results >= pretty amusing. The old ones by the famous guys are pretty strange (http://www.cyberstars.com/ron-mike/ce1.html), in a good way. (http://www.cyberstars.com/ron-mike/ce2.html)

This one is by (in order) me, ThE_BirD, and Mr. Rockstar:

Hope to do more funny garbage like this soon!

Post yer pencilings, ya'll.

those legs are very short when compared to the rest of that mans body! i do like the arm muscles though.

Yes, yes they are. I ran out of paper... drew the head too big without checking the whole body scale beforehand, so had to kinda fudge it below the waist. *mental note to plan more in future*

Aaaand... since I now have access to a scanner, thought I might as well put some others up...

Don't worry, I know all about the screwed-up anatomy (hand too small, arms in stupid poses/proportions, general lack of energy to the figure) but hey... I'm learning slowly...

Just a 5-minute dragon sketch for fun from last month...

Some good sketches in here. jzero, I really like the idea of the drawings, but I think what's taking me away from it is the difference in styles. Your style and R* are complimentary to one anothers where as Bird's isn't as detailed, in this piece anyway. Good fun though.

kp: Seriously dude, you scare me. GREAT sketch(es).

TGZ: Dude those feet are awesome. Feet are what I have the trouble with most, wish I could crack em like that. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Did this in about 90 minutes tonight... bit smaller than A3. Photo ref used ... the face and her right hand are a little screwed, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Sketched up while the teacher was lecturing, was starting with prismas when I realized "durrr maybe I should scan in the lineart first!"

Bleh. Did this one last night. The trusty mechanical pencil again.

Eyes and mouth are a bit poor, and the overall contrast and values aren't quite right, but it's OK I guess.

Since jzero mentioned Exquisite Corpses I figured I'd post this again. http://members.fortunecity.com/joolzdepuma/xcorpse/index.htm
Me and a few buddies have been making these for the last fifteen years or so. The site is old and you'll need to disable any popup blockers. Anyway, it's kinda funny.

Photoshop, 25-30 minutes ... working res was 1200x900, then I scaled down and coloured it in about 5 minutes.
No reference used (which is probably why his left arm looks like it's not attached to his body, and his right arm appears to be holding no weight).

20 minute photoshop sketch tonight. No real plan in mind, just started scribbling and it turned into this. I erased his right forearm, hand and sword about 5-10 times during this ... and it still isn't right. Oh well!
