Whipped this up in Photoshop in a couple hours. Can't remember how many I've done before, but not much. I kind of like how it came out myself. What do you think?

I drew the line art freehand with pencil and paper, scanned, then painted it in Photoshop. Some links to some tuts would be nice, if you had any. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Some streamlining and detailing would be nice, but it at least shows potential. Keep practising mate

this origional, suit looks pretty cool and well designed
I like the flames on his shinguards and forearm guards. The grafitti on the suit seems a little over done. Could use some more colours added to the suit. And that pinstrip background is going to give me a seizure /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks for the crits. I was thinking that I'd either have the trimmings on the armor (the little darker spots on the edges of things) as a blue color, to maybe show rank or something. I probably should have either made them a brighter green or a blue. But since he's part of an army, I figured I'd save that for officers.
Any links to some tutorials on photoshop painting? Anything like that would be useful.

the graphiti is a little too much, how about scrapes and gashes. him being in the military, i would suppose they're supposed to keep their gear in good condition, battle scars are not usually purposely put there
