My son just wrote a letter to santa asking for Dungeon Keeper figures. It was very cute. Now comes the hard part, finding the dang thing. That I know of only one type DK figure was ever made. It was the Horned Reaper. I've been googling and checking Ebay all day with no luck. I even emailed Daz since he worked on DK2. He's looking also.

If anyone out there knows where I can find some DK/DK2 figures please speak up. It would make a little boy very happy on Christmas morning.

I found that after a rather lengthy Googling... but alas the EA Online Store does not seem to stock the figure any more.
I think a chain of stores over here in the UK called "Forbidden Planet" used to have the figure, but I don't know for sure.
Ebay sounds like the best bet, they're probably out of production now from the looks of things /images/graemlins/blush.gif

[edit] rofl, now I look like a dumbass because you found the same thing before I did, and I posted this without refreshing the thread, so ... heh /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ahah I made the grafx for that website Dave. I had no idea it was still up. That pic of the model is Im pretty sure the exact same one I have in a pile of stuff somewhere. But I'll ask around tommorow.

Have you tried the 'contact us' section of the EA co. store?

TechSmith

Nope, haven't tried the contact us option yet. Call me odd, I usually do an extensive search first. I'll give that a shot on monday if I can't find anything today.

Thanks Daz /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well the "contact us " option is so far a flop. I asked about where to puchase the Horned Reaper figure and even included a link to what the product was. Unfortunately they didn't seem to understand that I wasn't looking for a game.

This is thier reply
"Hi Dave,

Thanks for contacting EA Online Support!

We recommend that you visit the official sites http://easports.ea.com/ (for sports titles) and http://eagames.ea.com/ (for all other titles) for the particular game in question. Official sites offer exciting features such as tips & hints, downloads, message boards, various languages, tentative release dates, newsletters, as well as support.

For a complete list of games available through EA.com, please visit: http://www.ea.com/home/home.jsp?all#sort.

To purchase an EA title and for a complete listing of all available EA titles, please visit our online store at: www.eastore.ea.com. (http://www.eastore.ea.com.) Please keep in mind that the games listed on the website are the only games available through Electronic Arts.

For the most part, we only sell games that were produced within the last year. Unfortunately, if you are unable to find the game you are looking for on the EA Store, then we suggest you to try looking at software stores in your local area or other online retailers.

If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know.

Thanks for your interest in EA."

Check your local comic book stores or Toys R Us. A lot of times they will have those figures laying around and have them marked way down to get rid of them.

That email is probably from an autoresponder. Try sending another mail, maybe that won't trigger it again.

Here is a link to the original sculptor's website. http://www.darkart.de/index.htm

The figure was originally only available in Germany and some other European stores. Anyway, there is a link on his site, maybe you could ask him directly where to find a figure.

Hope it helps!

EEK! ok, so he sculpted an 88 inch version of the character and only 1000 pieces were made. So uh...yeah. Looks like I didnt find the toy...

That is some pretty damn impressive detective work mrrogers! I remember this model http://www.darkart.de/images/sculptures/hornedreaper1.JPG 'cos he sent it to Bullfrog and its probably still there somewhere. As for the life size one I seem to recall EA Germany commisioned it for point of sale marketing stuff.
A life size one would be cool! Theres more pics here as it seems to have been a collaborative project: http://www.studiooxmox.com/ But alas you're right it's not the toy.
Dave: Im not back to work til wednesday so havemnt had a chance to do any hunting.

Btw, as I look back, it cracks me up that there were 6 of us! ( the AD in shorts doesn't count. He didn't do any real work ;-p ). Now I work on Art teams that are about 30 or 40+ strong!!!

In the cinematics, I found the mistress to be so hot as to be unnerving. Hadda remind myself, "she's a fuckin' cartoon!"

"... and put that thing away!"

According to a friend of mine, http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/ that site has massive amounts of figures. However, no search function /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I've been looking all morning for the plush toy and the only thing I can find is the Ebay auctions. You might try contacting SEGA, but I had terrible luck with EA when I did that. I'll keep an eye open for one.
