Man the internet is a bitch. Trying to find information on immigrating to the US from Canada. If I ever land a job in the US I'd like to know some things. Specifically whether or not my girlfriend can come with me (legally) or if she'd have to be my wife and not my girlfriend. Anyone know of sites with information like this besides Google?

Are you sure you didn't mean the other way around /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Damnit! I used to have some links with good information about this. I think a visa through NAFTA is your best bet. You sign up at the border, I believe. Don't know anything about the girlfriend situation, though.

Maybe you can switch with someone that wants to leave the country now that GWB is back in office. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Immigration from Canada to the US isn't much different than from any other country.. except it's a bit easier to get a temporary working visa...

More on that here: http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20030425/rose_01.shtml

Make sure you read the case studies too.
