I've never really unerstood the huge following of Halo. Its an ok game certainly, but nothing so amazing that it deserves this sort of excitment. I'll save my feverish excitement for Half-Life 2.

well, it's mainly that it is probably the best console fps to date, on par with goldeneye, and it's a good game to play with a bunch of friends. you dont need to set up a lan or go online and make sure everyone is on at the same time, you just go to your friends house, pick up a controller, then throw it at them in frustation when they hog the scorpion.

3D Guy now has plans for the next 96 hours straight. At which time he will finally pause for a food and bathroom break.

Err, you need ten to fifteen to play through Halo 2, not 96.

Well, the other 81-86 hours will be spent playing multiplayer and replaying through the singleplayer campaign... or maybe he's just really bad at the game and it takes him that long to complete it.
