Question about outsourcing?

I have a question about game companies outsourcing for commerical design (both game dev and publishers). Are the motion graphics in commerical design usually done in house or outsourced?

Outsourcing is pretty common, espcecially if it's a really high profile job. Some shops still do it themselves though, if they can afford moving some of their people onto such a portion of the project. So, it's a bit of both.
