Board Poll: What would you like to see pt2?

OK, quick Poll, but important to how you feel things are going to go.
The results may or may not influence what happens with the design of the boards though. If the big green boss man says nay then no number of votes will sway him, but this is just to get the gist of popular opinion for us admin types to discuss.

I put in my vote. And I agree about the layout. I know this place is was meant to be temporary. For now it's very plain and not very personalized. Perhaps return a huge polycount title image. And maybe a faint tiled background. I can't say I'm a fan of the blue reply area.

It's not temporary anymore - could we ditch temporary from the titles and board names? Perhaps it could be called Transitional if an extra word is needed.

I cast my vote. Looks like images in sigs is a close running. I liked them, added a bit of creativity and helped separate the posts. This wasn't a option in the poll, but I liked the custom titles better than the stepped ranks, they didn't promote spamming to get a new rank and added a bit of individuality. The thread rating can go as it's pointless, but I like the thread views, even if you don't get too many people replying it's nice to know that at least people see your work.

i really like the custom titles, and the ability to have them be links.

having the option to be either steeped, custom, or off would be optimal /images/graemlins/wink.gif would be like the avatars.

Custom titles all the way!! I'm still getting confused on some threads as to who posts what. Is there a way to more clearly define the separator line? Also, is there a way to make the Quick Reply box bigger?

If it exceeds the maximum sig dimensions, of course I wouldn't use it (or I would resize it). On the other forum that I'm currently using this sig, the maximum dimensions are 400x100 or 300x150. I haven't bothered resizing it since images in signatures haven't been enabled anyway. Calm down /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

I'm not sure about avatars and sig pictures externally. I know it's hosting, but when you see a big fat [X] it makes it look the worse. If we could maybe get a standard place to keep them all or something? I just hate it.

I dont mind the boards the way they are, but there is still something odd about them. Would like a layout more similar to the old one... and the views bug me, as I always expect the number next to the post title to be the number of replies. But eh, nothing I can't get used to really.

Can one set a post so as it does not allow replies without a rating? and if so does it automatically delete what you have written? if so that sucks!!!
