Anyone know how they're doing this? I mean, do they get the art assets (character models and engine) from the developer directly, or are they using off-the-shelf games? Seems like they're using games that either haven't been out very long (or at all), like Bloodrayne 2, or games that you wouldn't think would be moddable, like Leisure Suit Larry.

Looks like they're using mocap for the animation. I'm guessing they crank these out pretty fast. But however they're doing it, I think it's a cool idea and brings more attention to game art in general.

Oh, and in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, here's the link:

apparently its just one guy. He pitched the idea to MTV and they liked it. the developers send him their in game assets, and he mocaps it.

Could have selected better music for these projects. Like Battlefield 1942 and Metallica's "One". Instead of the TRL bullshit. But I wouldn't expect anything better from MTV.

some of them are pretty strange, like I watched it for a moment, and what I saw was Gorge from ut singing and swaying, yeah...though I don't watch it much because they rarely have music on I like. :\
