I was bored, so here's a silly little benchmark program I whipped together in a matter of 8 minutes using the Darkplaces Quake1 engine, curious to see your results. Dunno if this should be in p&p or not, though it does involve my older gargoyle model with fupped arms :P (neutered this time around)

My athlon 950 w/ gf2gts 64mb gets a 13fps avg on 640x480x32 default settings here.

I got around 76 with P4 2.0a and Radeon 9600.

195.blah FPS. My AthlonXP 1.8 didn't bottleneck this one too much so my GeForce 6800 had a decent performance. Compare this to the 2 FPS I get with Nvidia's Nalu demo...

BTW i think the engine sucks cause why the hell its so slow with so little on screen? And could you say what effects it uses?

its based off of quake 1 so of course it sucks.
