a while ago i got the Cashern video off torrent, but i'd rather have the DVD version which came out on Oct 23rd but its a region 2 and i dont really wanna spend the money for a multi region player. then i came across this site:

http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp?Page=44

snazzy is all i ahve to say. and for you people that want in on casshern action from across the big blue sea:

http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.asp...videos/did-160/ (http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/pid-1003748897/pname-CASSHERN/code-j/version-all/section-videos/did-160/)

Damn my poorness and my desire for awesome movie goodness!

Flashing one's dvd-drives CAN be a very bad idea, unless you've got 101% control of the situation... /images/graemlins/ooo.gif

That said, I flashed mine some 5 months ago to accomodate my purchase of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

try going to
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?dvdplayer=+RDR-GX7&Search=Search

and checking to see if there are hacks listed for your player.

Aha!
So that's what you were watching at work. I'll have to check it out. It looked pretty interesting from the few glimpses I got. :S

They pretty much come region-free in NZ. If they aren't you can ask often the reseller to flash them for you.
