Um...I like the way the model's looking, it has a likeable shape, nice and stylised. Although there are loads of wasted polies in the back.
My Question is though. What does this have to do with the Elemental Contest? Last time I checked the dark wasn't an element. And it really doesn't look like it represents darkness either, more so just a guy in a straight jacket.

i was a a bit confused at first too. but this is his October contest entry for the Milkshape3d forums contest.
while this IS a contest forum i think this is more of a Pimpin and Previews related thread, as this forum is for the polycount contests and not just a general 'show any contest work here' forum. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
still looks good. though i can tell you are using Loomis' male proportion chart as a guide. the shape fo the legs always gives it away ;p it seems you are going for a more realistic look with the mesh than your initial concept. are you going to stylize it any or keep it more realistic?

i think the collar was bad and the shirt tail was retarded looking and so i removed them.
the current legs are what i made to i will know how long to make em cause when i made that part i didn't have a scanner, and i used some reference pic and made changes in it.
as for the darness part (as in absence of light) hes gonna have a blackarm thing with bulging veins and stuff and serverly disporportional, but hes also gonna be like (i really dont wanna use this word cause is'nt not very fitting for him, but...) gothic in a way (and seeing oh SOO many goths day to day, he could fit in with em /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Im planning to give him bandaged wrapped feet and some slip on shoes like you would see bruce lee wearing in a kung-fu movie
hes also gonna get a mouth all mutated like neo's when he first confronted Smith and they injected a tracer thing.
