Visited threads with new posts don't get "unvisited". That was the feature I liked the most on the old board, no stupid cookie mechanisms.
A better divider between posts would be better, too. It's kinda annoying to have to search where a post ends and the next one starts.
And I miss the polyblobs!

Besides that I really like that you can post a reply right away at the bottom of the thread.

yes! we need the visited->unvisited setting back.

and a better divider should be as easy as setting cellpadding="2" in the tables that make up the forums

Definitly like the new board system. I miss the PC colours and logo but know it'll return soon enough. Wouldn't mind at all if we had this sytem when we update our forums once GSI gets their shit together.

I like the new functionality. I do not miss the old colours; they got to be too dark and boring. I've always thought that's out of sync with the idea of frequenters being graphics artists. I really find the http://www.cgtalk.com/ look appealing, but that's me.

if you set your colors to the board default they should be the old colors.

its taking me a little time to get used to it, but yeah i like it ok. main thing i would like to see difrent is the location of the reply button, it seems cluttered withthem being in every post. but thats really a small thing and i can learn to get over it, i like how you just log in once instead of haing to do user name password every time you post

I like it that we have a board at all! However, it's like the house burned down, and there's a big trailer home on the lot which is the same color, but doesn't feel exactly right, it's got some sheet plastic where there should be windows. All over me like a cheap suit, baby.

All the new buttons are too freakin' big. I do like it that there are new features that the old PC boards didn't have, like thread view counts. But I want my post count back.

Just posted -- the post text box is too small, and I HATE the little smilies. The old Polycount smilies RULED!!

make sure in your user preferences that you set it to use the 'default color' scheme for the colours of the old boards. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

At first I wasn't a fan of them, but I'm warming up to them now. The color change to the way the old boards makes it feel more comfortable, and I do like the little reply box at the bottum of the page, it's useful.

I am starting to like the new ones now - we fear change.

Now that some more colours have been tweaked and some proper smilies are in, its looking better.

I like the fact that the reply box has code for images and urls.

Just wanted to add another vote to get rid of all the clutter that accompanies the posts. Both the entire line of 'Re: (Subject)' and the 'Post Extras' seem unecesary to me.

I think the only stuff we need is the date and time posted, and reply with quote.

If everything must be kept please change to polycount colors formatting so that they're more easily ignored. But, overall, I'm loving the new boards so far /images/graemlins/smile.gif
