how did you generate the dds? are you using CryTif for Photoshop and set the correct presets for each map?

To export your texture as high res as your PSD, do this:

1, select difuse high
2, click PC slot to select it
3, click higher resolution a couple times

Is your editor set to Very High? If not, it will reduce all the textures in the level to half their resolutions.

Also, try putting in the console and/or a user.cfg file the command: "r_texturestreaming 0"

Uncheck that auto optimize file, don't click the higher resolution button, I've never had that issue, but I have had issues with using those buttons with the auto optimize checked.

Yes, forgot to say that, the Auto Optimize is evil, should be off! :)

Make sure your texture is a square of 2. The textures you posted are 1600*1600, makse sure it's 1024*1024 or 2048*2048.

Happens to the best of us! :)

i know in UDK you have to change the textures to like UI or something to tell UDK not to optimize it down. Anything like that in Cryengine?

try to delete all tiff and dds files and save again (not sure if you tried that before, but sometimes windows fucks up and doesn't overwrite the DDS with new versions)

apart from that - are you using any alpha channels or cymk or anything like that?

Yeah did that now and still the same. The saved tiff files is 2048 and all so i dont get why its not coming up in viewport.

seems like i found the problem, remembered i scaled the meshes in CE3 so just exported them in a better scale and now it works. Thanks allot for the help checking all possible angles of error!

It might be a maya specific issue, as I have never encountered this with scale in 3ds max.
