Sony Online Entertainment has announced a new user-generated content program.
Player Studio is a new program from SOE that allows players the chance to create items to be sold in the marketplace of their favorite online game. Players will create every aspect of their in-game item, including the name and lore, before submitting it to SOE for review. If approved, the item will be added to the marketplace and the creator will share 40 percent of all sales of their contribution.
Sony has also announced two new expansions for EverQuest along with Player Studio, EverQuest: Rain of Fear and EverQuest: Chains of Eternity.
